' If I loved a man, as she loves the Admiral, I would be always with him, nothing should ever separate us, and I would rather be overturned by him, than driven safely by anybody else.'

first day of semester 2 - well technically, first day of week 3 of sem 2 because of our screwed up timetable. which i hate. because it means that we have to do all assessment for term 3 in the next 4 weeks.
the senior council made a complete fool of themselves during assembly today - apparently the only person laughing was becky kennedy, probably feeling sorry for us. and then we had a blast at our dance party afterwards. all the songs made me feel so old. wah.
bah school. finished grammar sheet from german last night so i knew all the answers today because no one else did it - or i would, if i answered the questions right. whoops. yay for grammar.
i should really not be doing this unit in english - it's threatening to undo all work i've done in the past year and half or so. bah. lynn - i'm sorry i paid you out about "love, lust & lit.", you have every right to pay me out for this one. i can just see my 6 turning into 9.99. oh the torture. but seriously, i like it, it's just got bad timing. but if it didn't i'd enjoy my yr 12 units very, very much.
but it's nice to get back to normal. getting out of the house is nice and seeing people other than daniel is also good. the computer/tv screen is starting to get boring. now i can do schoolwork. yay. looking forward to getting out, but also feel like this term's gonna be a hectic one - don't expect regular posts (not that they ever were). alright, i see everything in your eyes alright, something's happening 'cos everyone's around but you're the only one i see

Elizabeth's spirits soon rising to playfulness again, she wanted Mr. Darcy to account for his having ever fallen in love with her. 'How could you begin?' said she.'I can comprehend your going on charmingly when you had once made a beginning; but what could set you off in the first place?' 'I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look, or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.'
nothing much is really going on in my life - babysitting during the day, bumming and watching movies with dot at night. should really be prepping for english next semester, but can't seem to find motivation. also a couple of movies i should see for school - moulin rouge and amelie. might be helpful if i could find them. oh well. i wanna see bbc pride and prejudice again, but should probably watch persuasion first. hmm... except the captain wentworth in that one - ciaran hines, maybe? - is definitely not better than mr darcy - mrs swayn! what were you thinking?! he's hideous! maybe the pictures are just bad. maybe he's much better when he is capt. wentworth. maybe He was not Mr. Wentworth, the former curate of Monkford, however suspicious appearances may be, but a captain Frederick Wentworth, his brother, who being made commander in consequence of the action off St. Domingo, and not immediately employed, had come into Somersetshire, in the summer of 1806; and having no parent living, found a home for half a year, at Monkford.
He was, at that time, a remarkably fine young man, with a great deal of intelligence, spirit and brilliancy; and Anne an extremely pretty girl, with gentleness, modesty, taste and feeling. - Half the sum of attraction, on either side, might have been enough for he had nothing to do, and she had hardly any body to love; but the encounter of such lavish recommendations could not fail.
They were gradually acquainted, and when acquainted, rapidly and deeply in love. It would be difficult to say which had seen highest perfection in the other, or which had been the happiest; she, in receiving his declarations and proposals, or he in having them accepted.

Zeit verschwenden |
you know, i don't think i'm gonna watch high school musical 2 - i followed daniel's example and "wiki"-ed everything and their idea for it is stoopid. *pouts* and i was looking forward to it too! "we've arrived because we stuck together" indeed. *scoffs*
steamboat was fun. nick paying me out wasn't. shopping for mortal presents was also fun. checking our bank balances wasn't. temptation in the form of cd was also not nice. oh well. more music and i don't get joyce-voice in my head after burning cds.
i've put on 3kg just by not running around the school like a headless chook - oh so that's where i got my exercise. yay. i'm bored bored bored. and surprisingly looking forward to last semester of school.
got a "new" phone - new being my old one, so i have a phone now. same number.
and the only purpose of this was to change the link to nay's blog. how productive. back to persuasion |

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, in your name I will lift up my hands
