I'm thinking of switching to livejournal. Because I love it so. But it really is pointless if I have no f-list because they're so much easier than going to people's blogs individually to see if they've updated. Because I'm lazy. But yes. And f-locking things for special people will be funner than talking in code. But aaaaaaaanyway, this is absolutely pointless so I'm going.
FONDUE for déjeuner and dîner tomorrow! I'm awesomely excited! And using the fact that I'm 18 to buy the white wine for it. Oh fun. :P Will Coles sell methylated spirits or do I need to ask Daniel to lend me his?

Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who made my birthday so spectacular.
This year for my birthday...
- Nick (who was first) made me feel important, girly and loved.
- Joyce & Lynn made me feel all warm and cozy.
- Lynn & James made me feel special and very well loved indeed.
- Daniel made me feel special, remembered and in charge.
- Dot made me feel Georgian/Victorian and French!
- Mark made me smell yummy and wonder at how observant he is.
- Claire made me feel full, expensive, loved and in need of fattening up.
- Mum and Dad made me feel worthy of rich Spanish food and booooooks!

Ok, birthday's coming up and I thought I might provide a bit of help, seeing as my own sister sometimes needs a nudge or two.
I'd prefer:
- time rather than money
- nothing rather than something that would be shoved at the back of my cupboard
- something useful rather than pretty
- not jewellery (because Von breaks/loses them and then she feels baaaaaaaaad *pointed look*)
- North and South the DVD from Borders -- $30...
or the book by Elizabeth Gaskell - books in general
- Mr Darcy in general (that was a joke)
- music -- make me a CD of your favourite songs

- OR bring money to our PARTAY to donate to world vision's 40 hour famine.

I keep getting SPAMMED. :P But you know I love you all... And yes, you know I can't help correcting the grammar. Essay time!
Getting to Know You
1. If you could build a house anywhere, where would it be?
Provencal France. Fish is good for you! So's the sea. And the snow. I mean, where can you go wrong? Except for being a really weeeeeird time distance away from everyone.
2. What's your favourite article of clothing?
The Shoes. They're kinda clothing...
3. Favourite physical feature of the opposite sex?
Eyes.
4. The last cd you bought?
Brooke Fraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaser.
5. Where's your least favourite place to be?
Somewhere stinky. With no light. And damp.
6. What's your favourite place to be massaged?
... I only get massaged on the shoulders. And they hurt if it's done wrong. I'm fussy.
7. What's most important -- strong in mind or body?
Who would pick body over mind?
8. What time do you wake up in the morning?
Depending on what day it is -- normally around 7:30, 8:15-ish if I have Chinese in the morning *sneaks look at Lynn and Ann*, around 10 on Saturdays.
9. What's your favourite kitchen appliance?
Well it would be the hand mixer if Mum hadn't fried it making banana bread. I have a food processor now. Which is a pain to wash, but it's easy to make things with it. The OVEN is my friend (except when James is around. Ok, things turn on me when James is around.) I don't know, I love them all.
...Do I sound like a housewife?
10. What makes you really angry?
Unfeeling people. (Not people who hide emotion, I tend to be one of them in certain circumstances) Ungratefulness. Wastefulness.
11. If you could play any instrument, what would it be?
Something sad and mournful. I'd possibly pick up the oboe again.
12. Favourite colour?
Dark red.
13. Which do you prefer? Sports car or SUV?
Don't you know SUVs are bad for the environment? Besides, I already drive a monster, thank you very much.
14. Do you believe in the afterlife?
Yes.
15. Favourite children's book?
Pride and Prejudice!!! What? It's a children's book! I read it as a child...
16. What is your favourite season?
For the season? Or for what happens then? Because I like summer for the summer-ness when I get to do what I like. But as for seasons, I'd have to say autumn... or spring.
17. If you could have one super power, what would it be?
This answer got me Sorted into Slytherin, but... invisibility.
18. If you have a tattoo, what is it?
I'm not drawing on my body! What are you? Crazy?
19. Can you juggle?
I went to juggling holiday program, I still can't. I mean, can't even handle one ball -- soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball...
20. The one person from your past you wish you could go back and talk to?
My grandma -- I wish I talked to her more when I still could.
21. What's your favourite day?
Of the week? It's a tossup between Saturdays and Tuesdays.
22. What's in the trunk of your car?
A tarp, non-stick mat, a bit of dirt from when Dad uses it to transport wood and other stuff.
23. Which do you prefer? Sushi or hamburger?
Do I get inari? Ok, no matter what sushi, I prefer it to hamburgers. Unless they're purely homemade... are they?
