Just a quick question for the not-lazy, or the bored...

If you could describe me with one word, what would it be?

Love unlocks doors and opens windows that weren't even there before. - Mignon
McLaughlin

Hehe... this reminds me of when Lynn was doing Love, Lust and I was paying her out about it. But then loved it because the perks of being a romantic and having a lovely friend who will pass on all the love quotes she's getting in class are HUMUNGOUS.

... Have I changed in the last (almost) 3 months? Or is it something that isn't noticeable? Do I give you things to worry about? Does knowing that I have someone to look after me make you breathe easier or more worried?

I'm sorry -- very questioning mood at the moment. It's all Timmy's fault for telling me he worries. *huggles Timmy* I love you, dearest. You're adorable and sweet and lovely.

bouleverser
you know, the thing i don't like about this blog is i've got to watch what i say. i can't really rant, definitely cannot gush (because timmy will throw up)... and so you get the boring stuff, sorry!!!

nothing really to report. got lovely compliments today about singing which makes me SMILE! and then went to lunch and shopping with nay again which was impossibly fun (both before lunch and afterwards). saw bodana (sp?) from the year above at grammar again. she's doing spanish at UC. *gasp* i saw liz cheah the other week too and she's not doing french either. *sigh*

first yf meeting was fun last night but so many new people i think my head's gonna explode. i need to get all their photos and names and do what the teachers do to memorise our names at the start of the year. i'm sure i'll get to know them slowly... yay for the mummies and daddies helping us, because the kiddies *glares* didn't help in the kitchen. but i'm sure they did a lot of socialising, didn't they? *pokes*

yay for lulu and ian coming last night! had awesome amounts of fun, although i was flitting all over the place distractedly.

working tomorrow, and will update template. le sigh.

Von: I... failed my Chinese placement test spectacularly.
Dot: I just failed my Chinese quiz... fell asleep halfway through.
Dan: I GOT A STAMP TODAY!!! (And a Principal's award on the first day... and a teacher's award in the second week.)

Guess who's the smart one in the family?

... Although, when we start speaking in Chinese, he just starts babbling... *quirks eyebrow*

Urgh. My tummy hurts and I need to do the laundry and have a shower and do everything else before sending Dot to the National Library and then going to worship practice. I don't feel like going out tonight. I feel like sitting in front of the TV with a tub of ice-cream (preferably Blue Ribbon), watching some soppy, absolutely ridiculous chick flick...

French is going to be ALL IN FRENCH and I'm freaking out. But people've been telling me that it'll come as a surprise how much I actually understand. It's not the listening I'm scared of -- I pass those, it's the speaking. JE PEUX PAS PARLER EN FRANÇAIS. Or if I do, it comes out a jumble of French and German. Which is baaaaaaaaaaad.

I want to hide in a hole for a month... with said TV, couch, and Blue Ribbon. And possibly a comfy pillow, because pillows make movie watching so much better.

Yes, I know I'm not making sense. I'm not supposed to.

From Carrie...
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I respond by asking you a couple personal questions so I can get to know you better. If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate!
3. You will update your LJ/blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

I have decided that there ARE no good e-cards on the net, and what am I gonna do about sending Valentine's to friends who I can't see? HMMMMM?! *shakes fist* If you're going to be stupid and shove V Day in my face for a full month, why can't you be useful and provide me with something to send my friends? :@

Well, I'm exhausted, it's 5 in the afternoon and I just want to die for a night. Please? Had a really bizarre dream about getting bitten by a red-back. Twas fun.

My V Day was good. Eventful, but good. How was yours?

I'm not gonna make any sense, so I'm going now, but Von got into Intermediate French! Which she assumes is 3rd year. But she'll never know. Until she asks someone, of course. But right now she's too tired to do that. 6.5 hours of sleep because you're writing Valentines is NOT a good thing. Children, don't do that. :P

Ok... I realise I suck and don't update as often as I should. I could say a whole lot more than I do (and apparently a whole lot less... I'll leave my Draco squealing to Dionne from now on), but then again, you never know who might read this. Actually, if parents got a hold of this, I could be in serious trouble. *sigh*

Hmmm... enrolled in uni on Friday and got my ID, looks hideous, but at least I've got one, eh? Am doing Linguistics, French and Chinese. Which is pretty much along the same lines of what I've been doing for the past 6 years. Am going to miss Maths with Claire and Bori (and Mr Joyce), and fun English lessons talking about yummy Mr Darcy (although not the ones where I fall asleep during Chaucer. I'm sorry, I'm sorry!!! I had pretty much no sleep that week. *grovels to Geoffrey*).

Definitely gonna miss the German, Japanese and French girls, but it looks like I'm gonna have a buddy in French, if both Jess and I get into the same year. We're hoping 3rd. *gasp* Which means, maybe I can fit German in after French. I hope so!!! Am off to study French like a maniac. Don't know if the Chinese test is worth taking, because I pretty much remember nothing, and even if I did, wouldn't be enough to get into 2nd year. Puh-shmeh? Present, Perfect, Imperfect, Future, Conditional, Pluperfect... Blah blah blah. If you joined Jess and I together, we'd be fine for the test. :P

Child care-ness is fun, although I still don't know how to do anything, and keep screwing up. *sigh* But the kids are lovely... haven't played much with the little boys, but the little girls always want to do craft and always want my help and are ready for a chat anytime. Which is sooooo cute. *goes clucky* But, did talk to Edwin (Mrs Hur's son) for a little bit. He's so shy... so unlike Trudy. :P

Hmmm... what else? A friend of mine sent me a survey, I'm debating whether or not to post it up here when I'm done with it, or just to send it back to her. Hmmmm...

And that's it for now. O-week's this week, am working Thursday and Friday, and if I'm gonna see you on Valentine's, you might be in for a lovely surprise, people-who-I-love. Must make sure I have things to do that.

"mummy, your boyfriend's threatening me..."

timmy, my dear, if that was real life, it would sound reeeeeeally bad. don't worry. i'm sure he doesn't mean it...

today was... interesting. daniel's first day at school. seems like he had a good time, though i didn't really get to talk to him about it after i crashed on my bed. mum rang us at about quarter past 3 telling us that dad hadn't gotten to his school yet and to go down to pick daniel up. so me and dot are running down the road (me wearing my ballet flats, dot wearing her thongs), and just as we get to school, dad pulls in. : well, at least i got my exercise, yeah?

i'm going to the after school care ("awesome activities", can you believe it?) to have a trial run tomorrow. should be fun! hopefully i get the job. maybe it'll curb my mommy-ing and my cluckiness.
