As usual, Von is being her indecisive self and cannot pick between 3 phones... so I'm gonna ask you to vote. C-box as usual, Matt -- be serious, Nate too. The rest... you too. :P

1. LG KG220 :: $99

2. LG KG245 :: $119 + $75 (and a couple of weeks) to unlock from Vodafone

3. Sony Ericsson W300i :: $199 - $10 discount Dad got. (that was a minus sign)

Please help?

    Too much to say just to put in cbox.

    KG245 - These phones are really, really good for the price you pay. It's actually $109 from the vodafone online store, meaning you save at least $10! Come with all the features you could possibly want out of your modern day to day phone; GPRS, Bluetooth, Camera (that is fairly decent, not the greatest, but you're not really paying heaps for it) and mp3 ringtones. Ray Fun, Mei's brother, has one, and he's pretty happy with it.

    LG KG220 - Your run of the mill cheap phone. That said, there's actually nothing wrong with it. Depending what you want out of your phone, the only real thing that the phone lacks is bluetooth (and a radio and mp3 ringtones, but those aren't really necessities). If you really don't want to spend that much, and don't care about how new age your phone is, definitely a good bet.

    W300i - Apart from the fact that this phone is fairly ugly when you open it up, for a features to price ratio, this phone will provide you with best value for money. The buttons seem to be a decent size, meaning that even if you have fat fingers (I don't, but it seems my fingers like to roleplay >_<) the pad is suited for it. At $190, it's cheaper than the KG245, and has the largest battery life of all the phones. The photo interpolation is an interesting idea, but I don't know how well it would work. It's pretty much just blowing up the picture by adding in pixels. Not sure on the quality of the software that the phone uses, so this could be either really good or really bad.

    Overall, and in my humble opinion, I'd go with the w300. At the end of the day who cares how your phone looks, and if there is any sudden urge to do something funky with your phone (eg use the radio), the w300 is the one with the majority of features. And the battery life is really important, making the w300 seem the best bet.

    DISCLAIMER: Opinion was only judged on the specs of the phone, real world performance may vary and this has not been factored into said opinion due to not having anything to do with the phones. GOOD LUCK VON.

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, in your name I will lift up my hands psalm63.1-4
