übersprudeln
I know I owe many of you a post! But no time, seeing as it's past 1 in the morning and I have to be at church at 10! *gasp* This is the latest that I've stayed up in a very long time. Also the first time that I've heard the house all quiet since then.

Heaps has happened since I last posted. Mutsumi and her mum are down from Nara, Japan, as many of you would know... being as they came to church this morning. Yay! And it's Christmas Day (or Early Morning, if you want to be precise)!!! SOME people are surprisingly unenthusiastic. It doesn't feel like Christmas, but I'm still waaaay too excited to go to bed. So...

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYBODY!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Am loving having 2 extra members to my family. It makes it almost big family-esque. We don't all properly fit at the dining room table! *gasp* AND having a semi-real big sibling is fun. Even though she's kinda adopted too. *sigh* I have some problem that makes me adopt big siblings left, right, and centre. But I love them all. *big huggle*

Thanks to Nick, Ling+Dan and Joyce for the prezzies today. Apologies to everyone who really does deserve a present/card and who won't be getting one. In all fairness, I didn't even get my teachers stuff and I'm never gonna see them again. :o Can't believe Year 12 is over. UAI wasn't bad -- 92.85 as most of you will have already found out from someone. I think I could have done better so everyone's "but it really is good!" isn't really helping. Ah well.

Carols with the "Senior Chapel Choir" (i.e. Claire, Lulu, Tessa and Avril) went well-ish. Raised almost $80 for Anglicare on the two days. Which is fair considering we sucked quite a bit. Well done, everyone!

For Christmas (and New Year's) this year, I pray that everyone can be as happy as I am now, even with the crying this afternoon and everything else. Joyful might be a better word. Everything's just GOOD, you know?

For Lynn and Adit because this song will forever remind me of them.

Kiss me out of the bearded barley
Nightly, beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress.

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon's sparkling
So kiss me

Kiss me down by the broken tree house
Swing me upon its hanging tire
Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat
We'll take the trail marked on your father's map

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, in your name I will lift up my hands psalm63.1-4
