sturmen
sturmen :: to storm

school's this crazy blob of... messy headache-y busy-ness, almost like the english language... but i'm getting there. i actually like plodding, it's better than staying up til ever trying to do a dodgy job.
don't know how to structure english essay, but it should be ok. all these chat places with these smart translator people with nothing better to do than talk about their career.
ilunga is a word in tshiluba, a language from congo, which means a person who is ready to forgive any transgression a first time, tolerate it a second, but never a third time. que bizarre...

founder's day service went... ok. someone stole my seat with my folder on it, then i up and left at the end of it. i hope avril brought it back. (i'm so sorry, avril! i owe you chocolate!) so i had to get a chair from the back. how embarrassing. but we got free food afterwards! and all the people who do choir had to run off in the middle of lunch for music photos.

hannah: right. we have to go now.
von: *looks down at plate* uh-oh. delewa, do you want my food? alice? anyone? *hurriedly scoffs down mini quiche and pie*
*rest leave waterman centre*
von: *grabs roll and runs out*
sonia: you know, i think yvonne wins. we just got dessert, you've got a whole roll...

how embarrassing... normally i don't really feel piggish, now, now i do.

lucy: frau schiessl, weren't you at the olympic games in münchen?
lizzy: weren't they in 1927???

bori: adjectival endings are the bane of my life...

lauren: ooooh! wait, you guys, you have to hear this! mark was walking along and he said "you have no charisma", and i said "maybe, but can you spell it?!", and he said "yeah... c-a-"... *really pleased with herself*
*pause*
bori: that was a really good call...
frau schiessl: lauren, i've heard that before.
lauren: what? someone's asked you if you can spell charisma?
frau schiessl: no... but i can.
lizzy: well, now we'll have to ask you... frau schiessl, how do you spell charisma?
frau schiessl: c-h-a-r-i-s-m-a
bori: *narrowed eyes* it's the same in german, isn't it?

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, in your name I will lift up my hands psalm63.1-4
