is it possible to be so disappointed when you had no hope to start off with?
spring concert was -- i'm sorry, claire -- not the best i've ever performed in. we could have done with more practice, i think. we're ok with the singing, but knowing when to come in, and singing over the symphony orchestra tripped us up. handel's hallelujah chorus was the best. was that an encore or was it planned?
hmmm... in any case, i really, really have to start my english and japanese oral. and elizabeth barrett browning is starting to make me puke with her sweetness... it's so... sickly sweet. |
