| *~ new year's resolutions |
gaahhh.. computer stuffing up.. i lost my post yesterday and gave up and went to bed.. so i have to post my new year's resolutions (which are always kinda silly and often never done cos i forget them..) on the 2nd of january.. *sigh*
- my life will scream "i belong to God".. well... not scream.. but.. yeah.. you know what i mean.. 24/7.. not just on Sundays, not when i'm around Christians, not when i'm in the mood to, not when the atmosphere is right.. but EVRYDAY any time, any place.. for the rest of my life...
- GOD FIRST, then family (immediate then kids), then school/friends (depends on whether that assignment is due in the next day or not)
- chocolate *sigh*: no this is not a diet.. this is healthy eating.. 3 meals a day, no snacks.. no snacks?? .... then.. i can have a bit of chocolate.. exceptions: sleepovers/parties/*shrugs*
- be a good mum (not annoying, not bossy (and i know i'm often bossy), not poking my nose into everything, but those things that you love your mum for.. taking time off work when you're sick, somehow knowing when you're down or when something's wrong, knowing if you need a hug or when you need to be left alone, caring..), be a good daughter, be a good sister (sorry dot & dan), be a good friend
- do my homework on time (stop laughing).. and not start my assignments the day before they are due..
- prepare for bible study every week .. (wouldn't it be nice to have a week where EVERYONE prepared for it.. wouldn't that make evan happy?) even when it's testing week and we're all v. busy..
- read my Bible everyday.. (have i said this before??) even when it's 2 in the morning and i've just finished an assignment and i don't feel like reading something else.. i will read it...
- i will not turn into serious, scary year 11 and not talk to anyone and stuff.. i will watch a disney movie a week.. well.. maybe not.. but.. i will take some time to relax every week.. and..
- I WILL NOT STOP COMING TO YF cos of school (or anything for that matter).. lynn.. you break your promise and you're dead :P
- i can open your eyes.. i will share the gospel with people (and try to make school chapel services something which will touch the people)
- if i go on a trip i will not leave luke behind.. (poor luke.. he must be so lonely)
- i will not be lazy.. (ha, fat chance) and clean my room every weekend
- i will not lose touch with meera, radhika, lauren & zoe.. just because they're going to 'bundah doesn't mean i'll never see them again.. will have coffee with them at least once a term..
haha.. made it to 13.. they got increasingly sillier, didn't they?? |
